Our Villa

BLOSSOM preschool is housed in a pre-war villa whose history goes back to 1926. The house is surrounded by a large beautiful garden with old trees, so our children have a lot of space to play outside. The house belonged to Józef Faryna, owner of the elegant florist shop “Celosia” in the Methodist House at Pl. Zbawiciela (today home to a pharmacy and earlier, for many years, a bookshop). Following in the tradition of the Faryna family, we have named our preschool Blossom, to reflect how children can really flourish in a beautiful, nurturing environment. As a preschool of the arts, we are very conscious of the aesthetics of our surroundings. We want children to spend time in such an environment as it shapes their future sense of aesthetics.
