Blossom – English-Speaking Preschool of the Arts

Blossom English-Speaking Preschool of the Arts in Mokotów district, Warsaw is where we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

We promote self-guided learning through art, contact with nature, and outdoor physical activities. We follow children’s needs and inspirations, striving to provide a selection of activities which will support their individual growth. We use English for everyday communication. Each group has a min. of 2 teachers – an English-speaking teacher (native speaker) and a Polish teacher fluent in English. We follow the core curriculum set by the Polish Ministry of National Education within the framework of our own project-led approach. From the age of 4 we introduce Jolly Phonics – an effective and fun method of teaching small children to read and write in English. At the age of 6 children follow the English Key stage 1, year 1 curriculum and the Polish curriculum for grade “0”.

Our psychological approach holds values and attitudes from both Attachment Parenting and NVC (Non Violent Communication).
